Flowers for Algernon, written by Daniel Keyes in 1958, is the story of Charlie Gordon, a man with an IQ of 68, who undergoes a new type of surgery, one that has worked in mice to improve their cognitive ability. When the surgery succeeds, Charlie begins to live and see the world in way he never imagined. The show has a powerful message and our cast is going to really bring you on a journey with them. We are so very proud to be bringing you this show.

There are two Public Hearings scheduled on Sex Education Curriculum. The second meeting will be November 18, 2019 @ 5:45 PM in the Board Room at the Administrative Center, 515 Snow Rd., Lansing. The purpose of these meetings is to report on the progress of the Waverly Sexuality Education Advisory Board (SEAB) and to obtain input from the public regarding proposed recommendations about the sex education curriculum and instruction for the district.
Once again Waverly Community Schools is offering a flu shot clinic to all employees and students. This will take place on October 14th, 2019 at ALL of our Waverly Buildings.
