Get On Board

Become a Voice For Michigan Students

MASB's Get On Board campaign aims to recruit civic-minded individuals who are passionate about enhancing education for every student. If you or someone you know is interested in giving back to the community, school board service might be the right opportunity for you.

Serving on a school board is more than just a volunteer role; it's a chance to make a lasting impact on the education system. It provides a platform for individuals to advocate for public education and actively contribute to the betterment of local schools.

To assist you, MASB has created a free and comprehensive toolkit with numerous helpful resources. Alongside their online resources, MASB also invites you to attend their virtual townhall events. During these sessions, MASB will guide you through the process of filing and running for a school board seat. They will explain the next steps and provide an opportunity for you to have your questions answered.
