Welcome to Waverly Community Schools Student Center! Student Center offers fee based before & after school care at East Intermediate School and Colt Early Childhood Education Center.

Waverly Student Center is an ENHANCING QUALITY-VALIDATED program with Great Start to Quality!

The mission of the Waverly Community Schools Student Centers is to provide academic enrichment and recreational opportunities in a safe, caring environment to all students PreKindergarten-6th grade.

Our Goals:

-Students will grow socially, emotionally and physically by participating in recreation activities with their peers that promote the traits of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring.

-Students will develop and improve their homework skills to reinforce learning during after school homework time.

-Students will grow academically through inquiry based activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math (STEAM).

-Students will develop good health and nutrition habits through snack and health supervision.

K-6th Grade Before/After School Program- Fall 2026/2027 Enrollment Paperwork IS NOW AVAILABLE! You will need to submit COMPLETED packets on the BRIGHTWHEEL child care app. Attendance calendars will need to be downloaded from the "shared files" in brightwheel-completed-then submitted to Lacey Balzer or Hanna Sayles. Complete paperwork as soon as possible as we will fill up quickly! Packets will not be accepted if they are not COMPLETE.

*Please do not send photos of attendance calendars. Photos will NOT be accepted. Please scan and email completed calendars to Lacey Balzer (lbalzer@waverlyk12.net) or Hanna Sayles (hsayles@waverlyk12.net) OR submit them in person at Waverly East Intermediate (Door #14).
