BOE Vacancies

The Waverly Community Schools Board of Education is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the Board resulting from the resignation of Alicia Guevara, effective June 30, 2026.

The Board invites interested residents of Waverly Community Schools to submit a letter of interest to Glenn Mitcham, Superintendent, at 515 Snow Rd., Lansing, MI 48917, or by email to gmitcham@waverlyk12.net.

Letters of interest should include relevant background information and experience for the Board's consideration and must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 6, 2026. Selected applicants will be interviewed during the Board of Education meeting on July 20, 2026.

The appointment to this position will begin no later than August 17, 2026, and will expire on December 31, 2026.
